European Commission needs expert evaluators

Date: 20/11/2009

The evaluation of FP7 proposals is performed by independent evaluators.
The Commission has an extensive database of experts, but there is a constant need for "fresh blood" in the pool of evaluators.
In particular for the KBBE area, the Commission is now looking for new evaluators. With the deadline of the current call approaching, they need to identify appropriate evaluators for the submitted proposals.
If you have any skills and experience relevant to the KBBE programme, you might consider registering as an evaluator. It is a very good opportunity to get a unique inside view on the proposal evaluation process and learn a lot about the difference between good and bad proposals.
More information on how to register can be found at https://cordis.europa.eu/emmfp7/

Have your say on EU financial rules!

The European Commission has launched a public consultation inviting beneficiaries and managers of public funds to send in their views on how to make the rules for grants and contracts more effective for everyone.
This is especially important as the EU begins to prepare the ground for a new generation of programmes in 2014.

Open until 18 December 2009 - More info
